(CNN)-- Once again, Michael Morell is being contacted to fill in as acting director of the CIA, this time after the resignation of David Petraeus on Friday. It was just last year, throughout the two-month space from the moment Leon Panetta left the CIA until Petraeus managed the helm, that Deputy Director Morell managed the company. The profession intelligence officer signed up with the CIA in 1980. Much of his very early profession concentrated on Asian concerns, and he has had a stable climb up the career ladder. He functioned as then-CIA Director George Tenet's manager assistant and presided over the everyday intelligence rundown for President George W. Bush. After a three-year overseas project in the mid-2000s, he went back to head offices, where he came to be the associate deputy director liable for the daily operation of the company.
